With the monks and teachers of the International Buddhist College (IBC) - Thailand

Lecture 1

ZEN BUDDHISM AND DAILY LIFE

In every corner on this planet people are trying to understand what is suffering, what is birth, what is death, what is this story called LIFE.
Is it possible to live spiritual life in our modern world? Is it possible to find the silence in the center of the storm?
Zen helps you to fall in love with the doubt.
A lecture and discussion about the link between Zen and daily activities.

Lecture 2

THEATER    IN   ISRAEL

Israel is the foremost country in the world in terms of the number of new productions that come out each year per capita in a given area, and produces 2,000-3,000 new trheater productions per year.
This phenomenon will be explored and analyzed in relating to the repertory theaters, alternative productions, theater for children, popular art, acting schools, as well as amateur and stand-up comedy theater in Israel.
The lecture will include a brief socio-historic survey of the evolution of Israeli theater, and will focuse on the situation today.

The lecture will be open for questions and discussion.

Lecture 3

DAILY APPROACH TO RELIGIONS' PHILOSOPHIES
What is the difference between a religion and the
philosophy of the religion? Why every religion has its
own philosophy? Why those who follow a certain
religion dislike the philosophy of their own religion?
Is it because religions are for easy answers and the
religions' philosophies are for difficult questions?
Can we apply religions' philosophies in our daily
life? What happens where there is no religion? What
happens where only philosophy remains? A dialogue and
conversation with the audience on the common thread
between all religions' philosophies.
